These fireplaces are part of larger design-build renovations and new builds in Calgary and surrounding areas, where layout planning, construction coordination, and material decisions are handled as one integrated process. Fireplaces are typically part of an entire main floor renovation.

Fireplaces are perfect for adding a little hygge to your home. Some of the fireplaces featured on this page were added from scratch. Others received a much-needed rework. All were created to fit their space, their people, and their purpose.

A fireplace should feel like it’s always belonged. In some homes, we introduced one where there was none. Framed it in. Finished it with stone, wood, or plaster. In others, we kept the structure but changed everything else, tiled over old brick, swapped chunky mantels for simple shelves, or ran the surround up to the ceiling for impact.
